Ingredients of Ergypaïne Plus from Nutergia
Nutergia Ergypain Plus consists of the following ingredients:
1. Bromelain:
Bromelain is made up of a group of enzymes found in pineapple.
These enzymes, from the family of proteolytic enzymes, are partially absorbed by the body and pass into the blood.
Bromelain exerts a systemic action on the organism: it would inhibit the production of prostaglandins (metabolites of arachidonic acid), at the origin of certain inflammatory phenomena and would have a positive action on the immune system.
Bromelain, as a protease enzyme, also works by digesting proteins. It is also attributed an action on overweight (via the destruction of collagen fibers) and cellulite (by eliminating water retention). Bromelain does not act on the breakdown of fats.
2. Papaya and Pineapple extracts:
Papaya contains catechins, which are powerful antioxidants that have been studied especially in green tea.
Catechins act positively on thermogenesis and fat oxidation, and help reduce fat in the belly area.
Papaya also contains carotenoids (beta-cryptoxanthin), which give it its orange color.
It also contains a precursor of vitamin A, which has anti-cancer activity and reduces the risk of artherosclerosis.
Finally, there is a significant amount of fiber in papaya, which promotes the feeling of satiety.
Pineapple, in addition to its bromelain content already mentioned above, reinforces this feeling of satiety.
Papaya and pineapple are best known for their effect on the skin.
3. Grape Extract:
Grape extract is a powerful antioxidant rich in flavonoids and vitamin E, which inhibits fat metabolism and effectively fights cellulite.
Nutergia Ergypain Plus and Science
To date, there is very little scientific data to support the effectiveness of the mixture of ingredients present in Ergypaïne Plus by Nutergia.
Research is underway to confirm or invalidate the action of bromelain on fat cells.
The preliminary results seem promising, but need to be deepened to be truly validated.
In addition, the inhibiting action on adipogenesis (formation of fat cells) and reducing triglyceride levels of bromelain has only been demonstrated in vitro.
Human trials are essential to validate the effects of this ingredient.
We would like to cite as a reference this recent study which evaluates the enzymatic activity and stability of commercial bromelain incorporated into topical formulations.
A 2004 study investigated the effectiveness of grape seed extract in relation to energy intake and satiety.
As part of a randomized double-blind trial with a placebo control group, this study involved 51 subjects, aged 18 to 65, with a BMI (body mass index) of between 22 and 30 kg/m². Based on the results obtained over a period of 24 hours, this study concluded that grape seed extract could play an important role in the management of body weight.

We also cite this study which examines the effects of papaya on the aging of the skin and which concluded that the oral administration of a fermented preparation of papaya, showed a consistent and regulatory biological and genetic improvement of the skin. .
Side effects and contraindications Ergypaïne Plus from Nutergia
It seems that bromelain can cause some side effects such as stomach upset, diarrhea, vomiting or increased heart rate.
Some people may also develop an allergy to this ingredient.
The other substances used in the composition of Ergypaïne Plus by Nutergia do not seem to have any undesirable effects.
However, it is useful to remember that pregnant or breastfeeding women should not take a food supplement during this period. Minors and those under medical treatment are also affected by this warning.
